An October Morning at the Beach

Wrightsville Beach was beautiful this morning. The cloudless sky was of a pure blue hue and the sun was brilliant. Migrating monarch butterflies were flitting around the sea oats, and the sea predictably ebbed and flowed. At the south end fishermen were trying their luck off the pier or surf, and I drank in my only day at the beach this year. I do love it in October. Here is my paparazzi snapshot of the morning.
